Very popular among the government employees working in nearby offices and journos looking for a late-night bite, this roadside stall, managed by a young man for the last three years, offers quite a variety, from Mutton Seekhs to Afghani Chicken, to the much queued-after biryanis. The non-veg executive lunch comprising two dishes served with rice, roti and two naans comes for Rs 40; the veggie option is priced at Rs 25. Dining is al fresco, so it’s best to go there in the winter. Another house speciality is the Bebazir Kheer. “We make it only on receiving an order for more than 10 plates. It is made with a special variety of rice,” explains the owner, Om Prakash Gupta.
