Meanwhile, the Authority will meet the increased 7 per cent demand of electricity from its own resources. Among the facilities detailed in addition to existing included complaint drop box, round-the-clock medical help, and toddlers’ entertainment trolley etc.

Widening and bituminisation of Race Course Road and other approach roads is also being done. Considering the interest of visitors, shopkeepers and vendors, the Authority has decided to reduce vendors, bicycle stand and scooter stand charges.

Bansal said ambitious plan comprising new sectors such as jewellery, career zone for academic counselling, food zone and footwear zone etc will be implemented from next year. He assured to get to the bottom of ‘irregularities’ allegedly committed by the previous regime in construction and initiate action against them.

Vice Chairman Ved Prakash Shivhare, Dr Harimohan Purohit, Paras Jain, Kalyan Singh Yadav, Ashanand Ahuja and other directors were present on the occasion.
