Haj pilgrims in Gujarat asked to get medical tests done for H1N1

In a press release, Gujarat State Haj Committee has asked those who are scheduled to undertake the pilgrimage to get medical tests done for seasonal flu and H1N1 and the medical certificate thereof should be submitted to the authorities at least two weeks in advance prior to getting visa.

Those who want to undertake Haj pilgrimage will now have to get inoculation certificate for swine and seasonal flu.

In a press release, Gujarat State Haj Committee has asked those who are scheduled to undertake the pilgrimage to get medical tests done for seasonal flu and H1N1 and the medical certificate thereof should be submitted to the authorities at least two weeks in advance prior to getting visa.

The release said the inoculation certificates must be issued by only those doctors who have been authorised by the government.
