A religious procession, Shri Hanuman Dhwaja Prabhat Pheri, concluded on the occasion. Thousands of devotees, including women and children, participated in it. The prabhat pheri was taken out from Kshetra Paleshwar Temple (situated at Shri Dharam Sangh Shiksha Mandal) in Durgakund area. After passing through prominent places such as Gurudham crossing, Acharya Ramchandra Shukla Shodh Sansthan, Sant Kripa, Durga Temple, Manas Mandir, it concluded at Sankat Mochan Temple.
The volunteers of Shyam Mandal, Manas Mandal and other devotees recited bhajans like ‘Duniay chale na chale, Ram ke bina, Ramji chale na Hanuman ke bina.” A Ram-darbar was depicted on a chariot. Another chariot had a tableau of Lord Hanuman. Tabelaux of Lord Ganesh, Lord Vishwanath and Sankat Mochan Hanuman were taken out on palanquins.
Flower petals were showered on devotees. Aarti was performed at different places on the route.
Dharm sabha, or a religious meeting, was organised at Sankat Mochan Temple. Chief priest Prof Veer Bhadra Mishra presided over the meeting. Noted sant Satua Baba, Bhishmdhar Dwivedi and Ajay Singh also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among those who participated in the prabhat pheri were Arjun Rateria, Sanjeev Agrawal, Kaushal Sharma, Rajkumar Babuna, Vijay Modi, Sanjan Kumar Sindhi, Prakash Dhadewal, Anuj Didwani and others.
Besides, all the temples of Lord Hanuman were well decorated with flowers and green leaves.
Special puja, including bhajans, kirtan were also organised to mark the occasion. Temples of Lord Hanuman, including Sankat Mochan and Bankati Hanumanji, were chock-a-block with devotees.
Since early morning, devotees started thronging temples of Lord Hanuman to perform worship.
