Whereas every medical officer posted at the district hospital will have to examine 1000 new patients every month. The monthly indoor admission should not be less than 300 patients.

CMO Dr Shantimal Singhavi said in compliance to the order a circular had been issued to the CHC superintendents, chief medical superintendents of district hospitals and PHC heads. "The basic objective of the order is to ensure that medical and health services reaches to a large number of patients.

On the other hand, it will stop evasion of duty by government doctors. The standards have been fixed now and strict action will be taken against all those medical officers who fall behind the target. It will also be ensured that they don't tamper with the patients' data," he added.
