HARYANA EVES won the coveted third All India Women?s Netball championship organised by Madhya Pradesh Netball Association played at New Digamber Public School grounds today.
HARYANA EVES won the coveted third All India Women’s Netball championship organised by Madhya Pradesh Netball Association played at New Digamber Public School grounds today. Haryana girls showed their superiority as the won their matches by huge margins. Almost all their matches were one-sided affairs.

Hosts Madhya Pradesh team gave a good fight in the final against the strong Haryana team. They fought well to diminish the margin of defeat. In the final, Haryana skipper Navdeep Kaur excelled as she scored 11 goals out of the15 scored in the final.
Madhya Pradesh eves fought back well to score seven goals and to restrict the opposition in not scoring more goals like they did against teams like Bihar where Haryana routed them 26-0, the highest score against any team.
Rupam Gupta showed her skill to score five goals while Minal Nagar scored two goals.
The hard line match was played between Chhattisgarh and Punjab. Kavita of Chhattisgarh played superbly to score 13 goals to help her team win the third place.
Indian Women’s Netball Association president Kalpana Parulekar was the chief guest and distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up while Madhya Pradesh Women’s Netball Association president Saroj Marwal presided over the function.
Haryana skipper Navdeep Kaur won the ‘Best Scorer’ award for scoring 85 goals in the tournament. Anusha Shrivas, the 13-year-old girl of Chhattisgarh won the best player award and Madhya Pradesh player Riddi Shah of hosts Madhya Pradesh won the wing attacker award.
The next National Netball championship would be held at Chandigarh.
