HC reserves verdict in Jessica case

HC also rejects Delhi Police's plea seeking permission for more proof.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday reserved its verdict in the Jessica Lall murder case, in which Manu Sharma, son of Haryana Congress leader Vinod Sharma, is the prime accused.

A bench comprising Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin, after hearing the arguments from both the sides, also dismissed an application of the Delhi Police seeking permission to submit additional evidence in the case.

The Delhi Police had moved the High Court challenging the verdict of trial court acquitting all nine accused in February.
