What all to see: The Mewar festival is celebrated to welcome the advent of spring.

It coincides with the festival of Gangaur (celebrated in the honour of Goddess Gauri).

On Mewar festival Gauri and Isar idols are taken out for procession. The procession winds its way to the Gangaur Ghat at lake Pichhola.

Here, the images are transferred to special boats amidst much singing and festivity. This 3-day festival marks the religious fervour and cultural harmony of Rajasthan.

Apart from enjoying the festivities one can also visit: Saheliyon-ki-Bari, the Suraj Gokhada, Pratap Memorial and other places.
How to reach? Udaipur is well connected with all major cities. One can also board a train. It (train) takes around 12 hours from Jaipur to reach Udaipur.
