Heat wave conditions in North Gujarat for 24 hrs

The weather department has forecast light to moderate rains or thundershowers at isolated places in all districts of south Gujarat, Saurashtra, Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, while north Gujarat and Kutch regions would remain sunny.

The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Idar at 47.2 degrees Celsius. Other cities where the temperature remained over 40 degrees Celsius are Deesa (46.1), Ahmedabad (44.5), Vadodara and Gandhinagar (43.4), Bhuj (42), Rajkot (41.7) and Bhavnagar (40.1).
