The French Open champion wasted no time stamping her authority on the match and raced to a 4-0 lead before the 70th ranked Croatian could finally hold serve.
But the 21 year-old Belgian immediately reasserted herself, sweeping through the next five games on way to completing the rout in 51 minutes.
The winner of six tournaments already this season, Henin will take on Japan's Saori Obata for a place in the last 16.
