Heroin haul accused claims link with boxer Vijender Singh

Punjab police have recovered heroin worth Rs 130 cr in international market from a flat in Zirakpur in Mohali district. According to media reports, the police have said that boxer Vijender Singh wife's car was found outside the flat.

Punjab police have recovered heroin worth Rs 130 cr in international market from a flat owned by a NRI businessman in Zirakpur in Mohali district. According to media reports, the police have said that boxer Vijender Singh wife's car was found outside the flat. Boxer Vijender Singh's brother has denied these allegations to a TV channel.

Police further said that a person arrested a few days back, Anup Singh Kahlon, claimed link to boxers Vijender Singh and Ram Singh. The accused, according to police, claimed that he supplied small quantity of heroin to the boxers.

The police is probing the link between the accused and boxers Vijender Singh and Ram Singh and may call them for questioning.
Meanwhile, SP Fatehgarh has said that no drug has been found from the car of the wife of boxer Vijender Singh. Vijander Singh also told TV channels that the accused was misusing his name and he had no links with him.
