High reaches of HP experienced snowfall

High reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced snowfall and down streams areas were lashed by light rainfall as western disturbances were active in the state for two days.

High reaches of Dhauladhar in Kangra district,Rohtang Pass, Lady of Keylongs, Goshal hills and Manimahesh
ranges and Baralacha pass in Chamba were experiencing snowfall since this morning.

Keylong, Udaipur and Kaza were experiencing snowfall report said.

Pangi in Chamba, Keylong and Kaza in Spiti district is already cut off from rest of world due to snowbound road on high passes which was reported fresh spell of heavy snow.

Dharmshala, Palampur in Kangra district and part of Chamba and Kullu district were lashed with rainshowers.
The Met office had forecasted rain or snowfall on middle and high reaches for Saturday. The other parts of the state was mainly overcast since morning.

After long dry spell there are high chances of snowfall in the major tourist resort like Manali, Shimla, Kufri,Narkanda, Dalhousie and Chail.
