Hindustan Times - C fore Survey: India’s youth; loud and clear

The HT-C fore survey reveals mixed sentiments of the youth in the country. Young Indians from rural areas seem to have a more optimistic outlook compared to their urban counterparts in most aspects.

Methodology:
Research organization C fore conducted the survey in Delhi , Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Patna, Jaipur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh and adjoining rural areas. In all a statistically selected sample of 1063 persons, in the age group of 18 to 25 years of age were interviewed using a structured questionnaire. 48 percent of the sample was represented by females. 35 percent of respondents were from rural locations.

The survey has a margin of error of 3 percent at 95% confidence level.
