While talking to media on the sidelines of a book release function at the Panjab University, the first woman IPS officer said: "It was voters decision. They have selected the candidate, who they think is in favour of strong Jan Lokpal Bill."
Team Anna had launched an anti-congress campaign in Hisar, which evoked overwhelming response. The 62-year-old Ramon Magsaysay award winner said that it was their duty to make the voters aware about the bill and which candidates are in favour of its implementation.
After leaving their impression in the Hisar by-election, Team Anna have moved on to the Uttar Pradesh elections.
"Every Indian want to have a Jan Lokpal Bill so that the corruption can be eliminated from the root. Our team is already there and I will join them on Friday," said Kiran Bedi.
Rubbishing the news of conflict within the Team Anna, the former IPS officer said its just an imagination of certain people. "There are no differences within the Team Anna. Conflict arise where people fight for power, we are running a movement and in movement there is no word called "chair", she said.

While talking about the comments made by the lawyer-activist Prashant Bhushan for his remarks on Kashmir, Kiran Bedi said that Team Anna is a group of activists and views expressed by one member is not a view point of the entire team. It was Prashant Bhushan’s personal observations. However, she criticized the attack on Prashant Bhushan.
Arvind Kejriwal, key member of the team, is being accused of misusing the NGO's funds. "All the money spent is being audited and will be made public in few days," said Kiran Bedi.
