HIV/AIDS on rise in India

The disease is not confined to the high-risk group but is spreading in rural areas and among the general public.

Sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS are on the rise in India, said the President of Indian Association of Dermologistis, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL), Dr Suresh Joshipur in Purulia on Saturday.
