Two homeguards on poll duty were killed and as many were injured in an accident in Jaithara police station area here on Wednesday, police said.

A roadways bus hit the vehicle carrying the polling party, killing the homeguards on the spot, they said.
The deceased, belonging to Bijnore, were deployed on poll duty here. The injured were admitted to a local hospital here.
