The Hyundai Santa Fe, which costs around Rs. 25 lakh, seems to be the top pick so far.
The other two choices are the Toyota Camry (Rs. 23 lakh) and Hyundai Sonata (Rs. 20 lakh). The state finance department has already given an in-principle nod for the purchase.

Finance department officials said some of the vehicles being used had completed their run of 1.5 lakh km, a mandatory condition for a change. Finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha said a final decision was yet to be taken.
