Hot-air ballooning training for NCC cadets commences

THE FOUR-DAY hot-air ballooning training session for the cadets being organised by NCC Directorate of MP and Chhattisgarh began today in Bhopal. On the first day of the session, 75 NCC cadets of MP and Chhattisgarh directorate including boys and girls participated.

THE FOUR-DAY hot-air ballooning training session for the cadets being organised by NCC Directorate of MP and Chhattisgarh began today in Bhopal. On the first day of the session, 75 NCC cadets of MP and Chhattisgarh directorate including boys and girls participated.

According to OIC training Col A K Singh, the objective of the session is to develop discipline, leadership and spirit of adventure amongst youth of the country. “It gives a firsthand experience of hot-air ballooning to the youths”, said Singh. Cadets also were excited and enthusiastic to avail from this rare opportunity of experiencing adventure sports. 

“After going up to a great height through hot-air ballooning, it is like winning the sky”, said Rinki Rai, a girl cadet from Government Women's Polytechnic, Bhopal. Sharing her firsthand experience of the session, Shobha Gangwal, another participant, said that it was like dream come true. “I want to do it again”, said the enthusiastic cadet. The session will    complete on March 24.
