Good morning my dollops double sundaes! The weekend’s here and I’ve got my plans ready, minus my silver-bearded Vijjy for sure! I’m off to a hill-station with my saheli from Goa. She finally arrived last evening, a little late though, just like the monsoon that hits the city every year. Anyway, before I buzz off, here’s what you need to see, hear and whisper about.

Bollywood’s senses:
For beginners, Hrithik Roshan has been tweeting about how the critics abroad and in India have reacted to his film Kites. His blog on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, is full of that information.

Predictably, Sher Lock Holmes says, that he loves the critics abroad because they have lapped up the film and gone overboard praising it. Their comments, he says, are full of praises for Roshan Jr and Barbara Mori.Holmes says he’s not quite pleased with the ‘mixed’ reports for the film in India though. He can’t believe that at a few places the film has actually received scantier ratings than many other less lavish and lesser-promoted films.

A chidiya from videsh has messaged to say that most critics there have seen Brett Ratner’s version and have gone gaga over the film and performances. They have not seen the version that released in India.

Oops! Now, I don’t know how papa Rakesh, mum Pinky and wife Sussane will take the reactions in India, since their
senses are full of good things about the film from foreign shores!
