Hurriyat to give political suggestions to PM
The Mirwaiz said that the amalgam would like to present suggestions to Manmohan about how to solve the Kashmir issue politically.
Jammu and Kashmir's separatist conglomerate Hurriyat Conference meets on Monday to finalise the delegation that meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on May 3.
They will also give final touches to suggestions to be made for resolution of Kashmir issue.
The delegation, which would be led by its Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, is likely to comprise of Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Lone and Maulana Abbas Ansari, sources in the amalgam said.
Ahead of the Monday's meeting, the Mirwaiz said that the amalgam would like to present suggestions to the Prime Minister about how to solve the Kashmir issue politically.
"We are not going to list any demands as such but rather concentrate on presenting our set of suggestions for political resolution of the Kashmir issue," he said.
The Centre-Hurriyat talks comes barely three weeks ahead of the second roundtable conference to be chaired by the Prime Minister in Srinagar on May 25 and is widely seen as a part of government's strategy to woo the separatist amalgam to participate in it.
Hurriyat had held the first round of talks with the Prime Minister in Delhi on September 5 last year.
