I am innocent: Rahul Mahajan

Charged with drug abuse, the son of Pramod Mahajan is in police custody.

Charged with cases under the Narcotics Act, late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul on Thursday said he was innocent.

"I am innocent. I am very ill," Rahul told reporters emerging from the RML Hospital in New Delhi.

Rahul, currently in police remand, was taken to the hospital for a routine medical check-up.

Dressed in a white shirt and blue denims and sporting a stubble, a haggard-looking Rahul was later taken back to the police station.
