I am not asked to campaign by Cong in UP: Omar

Maintaining that he was not asked by the Congress to campaign for it in Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh or any other state, chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said he would not hesitate to do so if asked.

"I have not been asked (by Congress for campaigning in UP or any other state)", Omar told reporters here.

"If asked, I will have no hesitation in helping Congress and UPA," he said, adding that he hoped Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi "does an excellent job in UP and other states".
