"I have also read (about FIR) from newspapers. I have not received any document and Amar Singh has also commented on this," Bachchan said when asked what he had to say on the FIR.

When pressed further to react on the FIR, he told reporters: "I have no connection with that fraud."

The megastar was in Agra to attend an event of the insurance company Max New York Life.

He is the brand ambassador of the company's package Max Vijay.

Last week, an FIR was filed in Kanpur against Amar Singh and his wife for alleged financial fraud amounting to Rs 500 crore, a charge dismissed by the SP leader as conjecture.

Bachchan's name also figured in the 14-page complaint as director of one of the companies.
