Ice cream plant visit enthralls DPS students

DPS STUDENTS visited Top ‘N Town Ice Cream’ factory on Friday as part of the site visit organised by PACE, The Newspaper in Education Programme for Hindustan Times on Friday. Around 150 students along with their teachers visited the plant.
The students, who were explained the processes involved in ice cream production by Top ‘N Town factory officials, found the visit entertaining and informative. Top ‘N Town General Manager Jaideep Banerjee took part in an interactive session with the students of Delhi Public School. He also answered their queries.
The students were delighted to see how ice creams are made and packed before they actually reach the customers. Ishita Chaturvedi, a student of class VI, and Animesh Kumar Sinha of class VII were curious to know what prompted to open an ice cream factory in Bhopal.
The duo said the visit was informative and they also got an opportunity to know of the factors involved in ice cream making. Nidhi Lal, Teacher Coordinator of HT PACE, said that the visit was enjoyable, entertaining and informative.
She appreciated the hospitality and cooperation of factory officials. She also appreciated the interactive session of students with Banerjee and said that such site visits should be organised often.
