A powerful improvised explosive device (IED) allegedly planted by militants on Friday exploded but no casualty was reported.

A powerful improvised explosive device (IED) allegedly planted by militants on Friday exploded but no casualty was reported.

Suspected militants had planted an IED on Poonch-Jammu highway, 270 km from Jammu, at Bafliaz Wali Gali area and exploded late this afternoon, they said.

However, there was no loss of life or property in the blast.
