The three-day meet, Amaethon 2006, beginning Jan 13, aims to draw the attention of management students from across the country to opportunities and challenges in agribusiness, said a release here.

Launched last year, the theme of the event this year is "ignite change".
The event will provide the participants with an opportunity to interact with senior managers of those companies who have made forays into agricultural and rural markets.

Amaethon 2006 will discuss agri-marketing, commodities trading and agri-financing in depth with case contests and workshops.

Students from leading business schools, apart from other five IIMs in the country, will take part in the event.
