The team assured FIR of full cooperation in the anti-quota protest in the near future. After a meeting with FIR members, a strategy has been chalked out to counter the government proposed quota politics before the Monsoon Session of the Parliament.

Talking to Hindustan Times, FIR member Chandrashekhar said, “We have chalked out a strategy along with the IIT-Delhi team to bring all students and like-minded persons on one platform to intensify our stir in the near future.”

Moreover, FIR members have also got the support of Mahila Manch activists.

Some Manch members, led by Neelam Chaturvedi, visited IIT-K premises on Thursday and lent their support. FIR members have said that they might begin a nationwide protest that would jolt the government at the Centre. On Thursday, FIR visited various coaching institutes in the city convincing students preparing for joint entrance and medical entrance examination to join them in the proposed nationwide protest.
