Sanjay Yadav, hailing from Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested for allegedly making arms at his relative's place at Ghedawara village, Superintendent of Police Sameer Yadav said.

"Following information that Sanjay, along with his local relative Pappu, was running the weapons factory, police raided the village," he said.

Pappu, however, escaped from the spot, the officer said, adding three country-made pistols, four unfinished ones and equipment used in weapons manufacturing were recovered from the site.
