Illicit affair turns fatal, four lives extinguished

They allegedly ended their lives by jumping before a goods train near Sahajanwan Railway Station here yesterday. A suicide note recovered from scene said the two were fed up with frequent feuds in their family over their affair, police said.

The dead were Reena, aged 34, her brother-in-law Alok, 30, and her two kids Ritesh (5) and Ashish (4). For the past six years, Alok and Reena were allegedly having an illicit relationship inviting the family's wrath and society's ridicule, police said.
The bodies had been sent for post-mortem.
