Improvised explosive device detected in central Kashmir

An improvised explosive device (IED) was detected by security forces on Monday morning in central Kashmir's Budgam district. The IED, fixed in a pressure cooker, was detected by a joint party of the army and police in Magam area, 21 km away from Srinagar.

The IED, fixed in a pressure cooker, was detected by a joint party of the army and police in Magam area, 21 km away from Srinagar.

A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot and the IED was destroyed in the open fields without causing any causalities.
