Minor girls feel unsafe on their way to school because of the growing issue of eve teasing cases in Harda town. Family members who complain and protest against the issue are also threatened by the eve teasers with dire consequences.

According to sources, the complaint against the eve teasers and anti-social elements was filed at a police station here but no action was taken.

Sources said that the girls expressed their interest in going to school but had to drop out because of the fear of eve teasers.

Some families complained to a district woman officer, who assured them that strict action would be taken against the criminals.Woman empowerment officer Archana Dixit said, "We are going to inform the district collector about the eve teasing incidents. Senior police officer and Harda town inspector(TI) will also be informed about complaints of parents of the girls."
