Income Tax officials raid medical practitioners

According to reports, the raids have been conducted simultaneously scrutinizing the commercial and private premises of the practitioners.

Over a dozen prominent medical practitioners of the city were raided by the Income Tax department in Nagpur on Thursday.

According to preliminary reports, the raids were conducted simultaneously scrutinizing the commercial and private premises of the practitioners.

Among the doctors raided are well-known cardiologists, orthopedics, nephrologists and surgeons residing in the posh Ramdaspeth, Dhantoli and Dharampeth areas of the city.

Most of them run private nursing homes or are associated with them.
