"The matter related to sale of some of the land attached to Gurdwaras in Pakistan has caused concern among Sikhs in India and Islamabad has been asked to look into the issue," Union minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur told reporters in Patiala on Saturday.

The Pakistan Evacuee Trust Property Board (PETPB) has allegedly sold around 855 canals of land, including nearly 811 canals in Lahore, worth hundreds of crores of rupees on a nominal price in violation of the Nehru-Liaqat pact signed by the two Prime Ministers in 1950 in New Delhi.

The matter was raised in Parliament a few days ago with External Affairs Minister S M Krishna promising to take up the issue with Pakistan.
