Security experts have predicted that attacks by Islamic militants against westerners may increase next year in large parts of the world, including Asia.

Security experts have predicted that attacks by Islamic militants against westerners may increase next year in large parts of the world, including Asia.

The RiskMap for 2005 published by the Control Risks Group stresses that large areas of the globe have become too dangerous for westerners to visit or do business.

West Asia, large parts of the Islamic world and parts of Africa and Asia, including India, are not safe, the report says. The US is considered safer than it was before September 11, 2001.
