He has signed a contract till the 2010 Asian Games, but the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has assured him that it would be extended till 2012 London Olympics.

NRAI is looking for a foreign pistol coach as well. “We were not satisfied with the performance of Gyorik Csaba in the Beijing Olympics. We are on the look out for a new coach, and will have one by the next month,’ the official said.

Hudson resignation accepted

The Organising Committee of the 2010 Commonwealth Games has accepted the resignation of Graeme Hudson as the sports manager for shooting. “We have no problems in going ahead without Hudson. We were in fact against his appointment from day one,” said an official.

“Hudson misled all Commonwealth Shooting Federations about perceived security lapses, high cost of accommodation and ammunition, which led to lesser preliminary entries for the Championship. In a way he was trying to harm the event,” NRAI alleged in an official letter to the Indian Olympic Association.
