Mammen, who was abducted by a militant group in Port Hartcourt, was released on Friday, Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed said.

Working for Saipem, a subsidiary of the Italian ENI oil group, Mammen was abducted along with two other foreign nationals on Friday at Buguma, about 30 kilometres southwest of Port Harcourt.
