The ATR aircraft (CD-7756) was on its way to Guwahati from Agartala late on Monday when the flight developed power failure, forcing the captain to make the landing. No one was hurt.
The passengers are likely to be sent to Guwahati on Tuesday in another aircraft, airport officials said.
This is the second such incident after June 24 when an Agartala bound ATR flight from Guwahati with 41 passengers made a safe emergency landing in Kolkata after "hydraulic failure".
