Friday, the last day of the festival, began with Mayat, a fascinating open-air performance by the Rangakarmee Theatre. A large audience had gathered in the lawns of Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore to witness the performance.

This was followed by Nagamandli, an enthralling musical by the Company Theatre from India. Pamela Singh, Mehar Chand and Anil Sharma were the singers in the performance.

The next play, Sawan Raen da Sufna, was a Punjabi adaptation of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream.

The artistes exchanged views on strengthening ties between the two countries through theatre and other cultural activities. The amity and the entertainment exhibited at the gathering made it a memorable event.
