According to Professor Ambinanadan Misra, a senior scientist at the Vadodara University who was recently in Lucknow to attend a seminar, "Unlike condoms, the new inhalers would not deprive men and women of natural pleasure during intercourse. Similarly unlike pills, the inhalers would not have any side effects."
The Professor further stated that in the case of pills, the medicine first mixes in blood before reaching the brain. But, the contraceptive inhalers that are being prepared in Vadodara reach the brain quickly since the neural component of nose is directly related to brain. The inhalers will be in stores later this year.
