The Indian Olympic Association convenes an "emergency meeting" in New Delhi to discuss the bribe scandal involving K Jothikumaran.

The Indian Olympic Association has convened an "emergency meeting" in New Delhi on Monday to discuss the bribe scandal involving K Jothikumaran, who quit as the IHF General Secretary after being exposed by a television channel.

"The Indian Olympic Association strongly condemns the alleged incident of Jothikumaran's issue in the Indian Hockey Federation. An emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the IOA has been convened on Monday to look into this matter and take necessary action in the interest of sports," an IOA press release said in New Delhi on Tuesday.

"I am also meeting the Sports Minister today in this regard," IOA President Suresh Kalmadi was quoted as saying by the release.
