Iran crisis: IAEA adjourns emergency meeting

The UN nuclear watchdog adjourned until Friday its meeting to decide whether to haul Iran before the UN Security Council over suspected atomic weapons work, a spokesman said on Thursday.

The board of governors of the 35-nation International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which began meeting on Thursday, adjourned their deliberations until Friday at 1400 GMT (1930 IST) to allow further consultations on a European-led resolution demanding Iran's referral to the UN Security Council over its nuclear activities.
