Centre manager of Subash Balika Vidhyalaya was suspended following a complaint against her by DIOS SP Dwivedi. At Kishan Audhugik Inter College, Ghatampur, the school manager’s father, who was found indulging in mass copying by introducing himself as an Education official, escaped after the arrival of sector magistrate Gulab Chandra.
However, permission was sought from the District Magistrate for initiating action against the culprit.
Mass copying was detected at Sant Vairagi Baba Inter College when the flying squad headed by finance and revenue officer of DIOS Shiv Singh observed that subject teachers were put on duty in all the rooms.
At Sukhmata Inter college, Vidhnu, centre manager was found absent and seals of question papers were found tampered with. At ABPB Vidhylaya subject teachers were performing duty in two rooms.
At Om Sarsawti Vidya Mandir, 114 students were found with their registration card and the centre manager had not reported for duty. In the meantime, DAV Inter college teacher Yogendra Singh sat on fast unto death out side the DIOS office to demand held up allowance of the school employees.
However, DIOS sources said the management had stopped the house rent allowance (HRA) of four employees including teachers whose wives were government employees.
Meanwhile, DAV Inter College Principal AK Saxena suspended a teacher CP Pathak, for helping students in copying and collecting illegal money for issuing admit cards.
In Bahraich, 38 students, including 11 girls, were caught using unfair means during the UP Board examination in various parts of the district. Acting DIOS Manoj Kumar Dwivedi said five flying squads and 11 magistrates were deputed to check mass copying. He also said all magistrates and flying squads were instructed to take strict action against copycats and errant invigilators.
