ISI agent held from outskirts

Top intelligence sources revealed the name of the arrested ISI agent as Kunwar Singh Yadav, originally hailing from Ghazipur, was residing in Jaitpura area presently. He has been an employee of the Indian Navy, who deserted and had been dismissed in 1992.
Sources said during his stay in Varanasi, Yadav got in contact with some subversive elements, who facilitated his meeting with a Bangladeshi national whose name Yadav has revealed as Aananul Haq a sympathiser of ISI.
"This Navy deserter has visited Dhaka many times and met Aananul-Haq and passed on vital information about sensitive establishments of India and maps of vital installations", the senior intelligence officer said.
Sources said Anaanul Haq was passing on information to a Pakistan Intelligence Officer (PIO) of ISI and Varanasi Police had this time received some clue about the presence of an ISI agent in Rohania area.
The agent was caught when he was making a call in a local PCO in Rohania village this afternoon. Intelligence agencies rushed to the spot and started interrogating him.
There are reports that one Shameen of Mirpur in Dhaka in Bangaladesh was also arrested in Kolkata on Tuesday. “We are interrogating him", IG Varanasi zone KL Meena told HT on phone when asked whether Shameen was also on way to Varanasi to collect sensitive documents from Yadav.
During interrogation, the ISI agent disclosed he had already handed over similar type of sensitive documents about Indian military etc., to ISI many times through Aananul Haq in Dhaka.
