In an exclusive, HT caught Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi recording a song for Vinod Chopra Productions’ Munnabhai – 2 at Media Minds studio in Bandra.

Surprisingly, Dutt was the first to arrive, sporting short hair for the summer and clad in a T-shirt over black track pants. Soon after Warsi came in, the chemistry they share onscreen was very much present off screen too as they cracked jokes, livening up the atmosphere even more.

Under the supervision of music composer Shantanu Moitra and director Rajkumar Hirani, Dutt and Warsi sang the Samjho Ho gaya number. For starters, Warsi crooned, … Kalakaar, bekar, dakaar bhi suna hai. Par bhai, yeh kiss car kya hai? And Dutt enlightens him, Kissing car, jismein kiss karte hai…

Later on, the two were trying different kinds of headgear when Chopra entered, with the help of a crutch as he had sprained his ankle. And when they had finally chosen their caps, they got behind the mikes again to continue recording the song.
