THE WORK related to holding Class IX and Class XI exams on board pattern would commence on April 1 with the MP Board of Secondary Education distributing the question papers to the Schools of Excellence that would serve as nodal centres at district level. The distribution work would continue till April 4.

Consequently, the Schools of Excellence would distribute these question papers to the various schools in the respective districts with the help of the office of the District Education Officer. The exams — both Class IX and XI — are to commence from April 17 across the State. This is the first time that these exams would be conducted on the board pattern. The MPBSE has prepared the question papers especially for these exams.

A notification mentioning the detailed timetable of all work related to exams was today issued by the Commissioner of Public Instructions L S Baghel. The notification has been sent to all the district education officers for implementation.

The valuation for the papers would commence simultaneously across state on April 18 while the tabulation would be done between May 5 and 9. The results would be prepared by May 10 and the mark sheets would be prepared between May 11 and 15. The results would be declared on May 15 and the mark sheets would be distributed on the same date. The students can apply for re-totaling within 15 days of announcement of the results.
