The Jammu and Kashmir government has accorded sanction to the creation of 314 posts of various categories for implementation of integrated child development services in the state, an official said on Tuesday.

The decision in this regard was taken by the state cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday evening, the official said.

The cabinet also accorded sanction to the transfer of state land measuring 240 kanals and 9 marlas (over 30 acres) situated in Nardi village in Akhnoor area in Jammu on lease basis to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to establish a Navodaya school, the official said.
