JB Patnaik to contest from Begunia
Orissa PCC President and former CM, J B Patnaik will contest the upcoming assembly elections from the Begunia constituency in Khurda district.

Orissa PCC President and former Chief Minister, J B Patnaik will contest the upcoming assembly elections from the Begunia constituency in Khurda district.
Confirming this, Patnaik said that he would be filing his nomination papers tomorrow.
Patnaik, after being elected Chief Minister, had fought a by-election from the constituency in 1995 and defeated Prasanna Kumar Patsani of the Janata Dal by over 22,000 votes.
The PCC chief visited Begunia today and announced his decision to contest from the seat at a party workers' meeting party sources said.
