Air India's code sharing agreement lapses on December 29, 2009.

Jet Airways will place its 9W code on Malaysia Airlines' flights from Kula Lumpur to five major Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. In return, Malaysia will place its MH code on Jet's Chennai-Kuala Lumpur daily flight — its only service to Malaysia. Thus Jet can connect to Kuala Lumpur from five cities without operating its own international flights.
