Judge to visit Uphaar fire site on Aug 19

After the site visit, the court would hear the final arguments in the matter before pronouncing its order.

The defence closed its evidence on Wednesday. Prosecution had already presented its evidence.

The case was earlier being heard at the Patiala House Courts before it was moved to Tis Hazari Courts with the transfer of the judge hearing it.

On June 13, 1997, 59 people were killed and 104 injured in the theatre during the screening of the Hindi film Border.
