K Sankar Naryanan is Arunachal Governor

The oath was administered to Narayanan by the Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court in Itanagar.

K Sankar Narayanan on Tuesday took oath as new Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

The oath was administered to Narayanan, also the Governor of Nagaland, by the Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court at a simple ceremony at Rajbhawan in Itanagar.

Narayanan succeeds SK Singh who has been appointed as the Governor of Rajasthan.

Arunachal Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, his cabinet colleagues, former Chief Minister Gegong Apang and senior government officials were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
